  1. I have no idea, I figured if I put something out there we might get more info.
  2. There is a 72 Chevy truck out now in 2 versions and both have a long bed. There is the Coke version and the Racers Wedge version which has an optional rear body but also the stock long bed. There is also a 72 Jimmy kit out now you could get your grille from.
  3. Don't forget the Moebius cammer from the 65 Comet drag version. That's probably the best overall kit version. That being said, the 3d version above looks like the definitive version if you're buying one now.
  4. There's only one tooling for a kit. It can have inserts for other versions or certain areas can be gated off or opened up depending on how the tool is made. The body is a separate tool because it needs to be run on a different style of machine that can produce more complex shapes. The clear parts and tires are also separate tools, that's how Salvinos can have Monogram NASCAR tools but have to retool all the windows and tires.
  5. Ok, that's what I wanted to know, thank you.
  6. I need a rear window for the early Falcon body. The easiest way to get one is to buy a warped promo and use the clear parts from it. But, do the clear parts eventually warp too or is the clear plastic different from what the body is made of?
  7. I figured, the second manual is an improvement over the first one for sure.
  8. I wasn't meaning no arm twisting, I thought the two manuals you posted were different transmissions. But I'm not going to lie, the c6 is a great option to have. I love the header options too, that's one of the weak spots of most of the currently available cammers and makes a tough fit even harder. Needless to say I'm down for a couple once they're ready.
  9. Yeah, this really seems like low hanging fruit for AMT/Round2 in particular but the legal issues might have put them off the subject.
  10. There's also the TROG build that's geared toward early hot rods.
  11. If it's anything like his other engines you will have a choice between a few transmissions you can get with it.
  12. Very nice build and perseverance through adversity, well done.
  13. Here's a better article that explains why Shelby is even involved. https://www.autoblog.com/2022/12/13/shelby-trust-eleanor-mustang-copyright-lawsuit/
  14. Yeah, I misread the article a bit.
  15. It doesn't seem like this opens the door for anyone to build an Eleanor clone but at least Shelby can offer them.
  16. I'm on my third or fourth Samsung phone and they've all had excellent cameras.
  17. Not having a traditional theme is making picking a build a bit more difficult than usual. I'm debating on whether to keep my personal Mustang theme going or go back and build my Vannonball entry that I never started.
  18. I started to hinge it that way because I cut it open without thinking the roadster would have a rumble seat instead of a trunk. I went ahead and did it the normal way just to get on to the next step.
  19. That looks like exactly the size I had in mind, thank you.
  20. Wow, that looks much better. I'll have to do that. Thank you for suggesting that.
  21. Hammering the end flat is an interesting option. I was going to try to hide it in a piece of styrene that could be bracing for the underside of the trunk lid
  22. Here's the hinge I made. I would just prefer flat stock so it has better mounting surfaces for the lid.
  23. I had to tweak on the 30 a bit. There was no way to move the engine up enough to work with how low the front was so I ended up raising the front about 1/8". I also made a flat firewall to get a bit more clearance for the engine. I also changed direction a bit, I was going to use the stripped interior but now that the 29 is going to be the more basic build I wanted to dress the 30 up more. This caused a problem. The stripped interior is also the channeled interior so to use the nice interior it also raised the body up. So to counter this I cut the interior frames from the channeled interior side panels and cut the nice side panels down to fit. I also cut the seat down to make the back panel of the interior, now to source some seats.
  24. I typically use gloss paint and then flatten it with a matte clear, especially if I'm going to be adding and decals.
  25. I agree, there's some good stuff in there.
