  1. Oh boy, off the top of my head 68 LTD 68/69 AMX 71 Javelin Early 60s Cadillacs 69-71 Lincoln MkIII 50s-70s station wagons Early 80s Ford Ranger pickup 73 Chevelle
  2. Personally, as a younger builder with no nostalgia for older kits I wish tooling dollars would be spent on new kits of those subjects instead of recreating old kits.
  3. Ok, I just wanted to be sure you were going to be able to get a set.
  4. You can buy the 454 from the Baldwin Motion kit on ebay.
  5. Did you ever hear back from Casey if he's going to do more of the Ford wheels? If you want them with the center cap I have a set from the Revell 37/38 truck.
  6. The Musketball, like a Cannonball but smaller and a lot less powerful. The real Musketball race was limited to 100 hp and intended to be cheap fun instead of a big budget race. I'm sure we can tweak the specific rules and still keep the low budget feel.
  7. Texas 3d Customs does a Rockwell T138 transfer case that's very nice and might be doing a front axle as well. https://tx3dcustoms.com/products/rockwell-t138-transfer-case
  8. Honestly that's pretty bad, I would try to find someone parting out the kit and buy another body.
  9. I've been using decanted brake cleaner spray since they stopped making Tenax years ago.
  10. I buy primer by the case from Amazon. I try to find colors at parts stores but no one around here carries more than a small shelf so it can be hit or miss, especially for less common colors.
  11. The song "Somebody" off an early Blue October album is a near direct copy of "Whatever" by Godsmack. Blue October Godsmack
  12. I have to agree with Craig, I got my v12 yesterday and it's incredible.
  13. I always under coat Tamiya or Duplicolor paints with Duplicolor white primer because it strips easily in super clean. I've saved many bodies this way.
  14. I've decided to build two cars, the 30 is the west coast asphalt car and I'm going to do a 29 roadster in east coast style. The 29 will be on 32 rails with a warmed up flat head. I borrowed the center frame member from a Revell 32 to bring the frame closer to stock. I also cut the pleated areas from the interior so it looks like bare metal.
  15. As a child of the 80s he was everywhere when I was a kid.
  16. They're gone, going from my purchase history shows the old listing but if I open ebay in a new tab they're not listed in his store anymore. I bought these when I was still planning a sand build so I might not be using them anymore. Let me look once they get here, if I'm not going to use them I'll let you know.
  17. There's two sets of the wheels left. I just bought one set a few days ago.
  18. Those are likely leftovers from the custom version on the 72 convertible, though that doesn't rule out a future custom release.
  19. Ok, I'll check it out.
  20. Here's a link to the transmission and some of the other items are in his store. I've gotten several of his prints and everything has been very nice, I always spend the extra couple bucks for the smoothest fine detail print. https://www.shapeways.com/product/P3GYZ77WT/lasalle-transmission-for-olds
  21. Believe me, I understand that it's a difficult thing to do. Maybe if I can figure out Blender I'll come up with something.
  22. What I personally would love is a full independent rear end with the transaxle, A arms, axle shafts, and brakes all together. Basically a drop in unit to convert about anything to mid engine. It would need to come in two widths to account for the body size of what it's going in and the offset of the wheels going on and have bellhousing options for common swaps.
  23. Yes, that does change things a bit. When I had originally envisioned this build way before the group build I had wanted to run printed cheater slicks on it. I had decided to run the Revell 30 kit rears because of the sand but will gladly switch back if we're running on pavement.
  24. I think I've found the happy place to get the engine to fit. I had to trim the front spring mount down, which I could do since I'm moving the spring forward, and thin the firewall about in half. I see now why this is such an uncommon swap, it really doesn't want to go in there.
  25. Interesting, I never thought about being able to remove stuff before the event.
