Good job, nice old work truck, i like the non coiled air hoses -
Well, it seems i'm on the wrong side of the forum....been looking at this duster for i think a couple of years now, and never liked the body shape, so yesterday i was just in one of those I don't care moods. So i took a saw to it, moved the roof back a little over a 1/2", filled in the grille, added a spoiler and side skirts. Got it primed this morning, probably go back in the box now, lol

Thanks, guys. Brian, the vents came out of the scrap pile, don't know what they were from. Sleeper was scratchbuilt, the real truck had a 36" Able sit in with one exhaust cutout and round vents. I installed it cause hauling wood chips, we sat in line a whole lot of the time. Ended up being storage mostly, with no a/c vents in the sleeper, u certainly could'nt sleep in it! Getting close to the end of the month, got to get back on the short dog.... -
Decided to pull these back out after a year in hiding. Trailertrashkustoms hood conversions attached to a couple of pickup cabs i had. frames came from the parts box, scratchbilt toterhome bed, got to build 2! sets of mirrors and a lot of other work to do. I dont really like the paint on the green one, but I dont think that hood would survive a dip in the pond!

What did you see on the road today?
signguy2108 replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
We had a small car show sat, chance of rain kept most of the cool cars away, but this made a 16 mile DRIVE to the show! -
Just a plain, no frills work truck. the last truck i owned, 1978 , 285, double low 6 speed, added the sleeper after i bought it. Model had the w/b stretched (190) in., kit tanks lenghtened a bit, visor added, diff wheels. Thats about it. I'm told the real one sits behind a barn now, grown up in weeds with a log loader on it.....

I find it a little strange that after 3 days there hasn't been an administrator or moderator that has chimed in on this. (other than dave saying he would take a look at it) Just wondering...... -

Mayflower Moving Van Trailer

Good looking old trailer. Judging by the smoked up side, looks like it was pulled by an old 318 at one time. I like the old white too! -

Roughly 1/24 scale, comparable to the volvo 780. these are over a yr old, so they may b harder to find now. Kilkathy has posted a couple, I put a a yellow one on here last yr, barely got a glance, just figured no one likes NEW trucks, lol Here is a couple of the lowboys and combines/ trackhoe with some details added, black one has a 3rd axle added, still working on em. and a new pic of the orange/ white with the stacks lowered, scratchbuilt aluminum bumper, visor, fenders , frt fender ext.,tanks , battery boxes, 2 in added to the frame, quite a bit of work on it and the green one. -

I get mine at a local Atwoods store, got 2 at Tractor Supply, they come with a nice lowboy and either a trackhoe or cable crane. I found one that had a Kubota trackhoe, but the hoe is a littler out of scale. the red/white one is basically what the look like, filled the sound buttons in on top. orange and green one both have a ton of work done to them. Oh, i think 3000toys.com has them also. Shortened the stacks on the orange one 3/4" yesterday, ill thy to get a pic back up thanks for looking -
Here's 3 more to go with my yellow one.....i had to fill all the holes in that were on the roof for the sound buttons, the green daycab had to have the roof sectioned to make it lower. Stretched and shortened the frames accordingly.
