I was looking at an 1800 series, the cab looks taller, i know the cab sits lower than a 2070. -

binderbooks.com/1968-72internationalloadstar has the operators manual and parts manual in reprint. Just make sure ur sitting down. There is also redpowermagazine.com. and a google search for internationalloadstarbodymanuals turned up some topics. Could you not use an AITM 2070 and modify the fenders? -

AMT Mack R685ST Semi Tractor Kit Review
signguy2108 replied to hpiguy's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Ordered 2 of these this morning, I can finally build my old 1:1 truck. As far as the tires, to each his own. Personally I'm glad to see the 10:20's. I ran this same goodyear tire on a chip trailer back in the 80's. They will make good trailer tires or a good medium duty truck tire. And i really needed the spoke wheels for another project. Great looking truck Anthony, that black paint is slick! but if u notice as in the last pic, using the bigger 11:20's doesn't leave a gap between the tires as in a 1:1 truck. All in all, just glad to see it reissued. -

Good looking truck, Ben. There is still a couple of these around here on farms pulling old flat bottom grain trailers. Get the idea? -
freightliner COE
signguy2108 replied to clayton's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
If u google "walmart freightliner argosy" you can see pics of their trucks. An article on truckinginfo.com a while back said walmart was granted a permit to test run this daycab cabover with a 60'6" trailer in CANADA ONLY. -

I went to letter a couple of trucks for an old customer of mine, found this is his shop! 1970 #'s matching LS6, 4 speed, total resto, w/ original build sheet and invoice (4,632.00). He knew I was in love, and after I got thru with his trucks, he pulled the cover off, tossed me the keys and said lets have some fun! I said no way and he said i bought to drive, not sit in here! I to play with it for about a half hr. Cross this off my bucket list!

HVLP Mini Spray Gun
signguy2108 replied to StevenGuthmiller's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
i've got one of the old pressure feed mini touch up gun and a couple of the gravity feed touch up guns from the body shop days that i used for striping and door jam work. My opinion they both work great for model work, just turn down the pressure and the fluid feed. A lot less delicate than an airbrush when it comes to cleanup. They are both worth the small cost u pay. -

Going to have surgery in the morning to replace my implanted pacemaker/diffibulator that's got a dead batt. (7 yrs old) Decided to drag a couple of things out and work on them.to take my mind off of it. Just a couple of snap kw's with scratchbuilt sleepers and a scratchbuilt race hauler, (didn't leave enough room between the axle spread, but i'll live with it!) Hopefully ill feel like getting back on them in a couple of days.

Got it back the other day, going to change out the way too thick frt bumper, maybe raise the frt susp. up a little update vortec breathers and the old Italirea tires are starting to crumble replacing them with a new set of Moebius wheel ansd tires. It's going back on MY shelf to stay this time!
