  1. Very crisp build and great color combo
  2. From what i've found, the chassis and cage are a fire engine red and the body is a gloss black. I used Tamiya spray cans

  8. A few more pics.
  9. This was a build for the club I'm in, pick a kit from another members stash and build - no restrictions. Started with the Monogram 37 Ford hot rod and combined elements from the AMT Hard Hat Hauler and a few bits from other kits. This was the first time for many items such as z-ing a frame, wiring the engine and most of all not something in my comfort zone. On with the pics.
  10. Very sweet Kerry
  11. My guess is that it will dry before it hits the plastic and create a coarse finish, similar to 120 grit sandpaper
  12. Looks like Sonic Blue
  13. All 3 are awesome. That green really pops
  14. Snake, Primer - I've personally used Tamiya grey and white, Duplicolor, and Testors as primers under that paint. As Joe mentioned above, the 1oz bottle is good enough for a small body, the 2oz (which is what most of the paints are in) can cover 2 to 3 bodies. I shoot at 24psi. As for lasting over time, I have paint that I bought 2 years ago and are still good. I shake the bottle for 30-40 seconds after i hear the bb's inside making noise. He has gloss paints and base/clear. Testors lacquer and Tamiya are what I have used for the most part. Any other ?'s, ask away.
  15. This is currently in a display case on my desk at work.

  19. $105 shipped for a 1/8 Monogram 1985 Camaro IROC-Z. It's a grail kit so I had to.
  20. Both are nicely done. The turquoise look very fitting on the Beetle.
  21. Super clean Marcos. It's just right IMO
  22. Nascar chassis work great for this as you an trim them down and you can get the right stance fairly quickly
