  1. Are the interior's the same ? meaning the plain RO style door panels Or is the Belv kit using the interior panels from the Satellite Looks like the Belv kit has the hemi valve covers on the chrome tree so I might could use left over AMT heads and intakes on the Belv kit shortblock
  2. I might could see the Shelby in my list. But none of the rest does much for me
  3. I have the Butch Leal kit already I want the 65 sedan body kit WITH the hemi. The Belvedere kit has a max wedge drivetrain
  4. I have both of these kits, BUT only one each I have more than enough kits to keep me occupied for quite a while for when and/or if the A990 car resurfaces even if with generic decals
  5. I can say Its finaly done. After several months of extensive small details, I've haven't done in many years It felt good to go this deep in a build. But I had my times when I regretted starting that process. And my hats are off big time to those that get that detailed. Looking back at it now . I wish I had the eyes to wire the firewall / engine compartment But my magnifier only helps so much In my haste to call it done,,,,,I see I missed the wiper motor install, as well as paint the front bumper brackets black ,,,,, I'll have to correct this asap There is a build thread in the Drag build section if you care to ck it out There is far, far to much stuff to bore you with here I used both a Car Craft April 1967 and SS/Di magazines for research to duplicate the car from early in its life span. No RO style hood scoop and when it still had the trunk lid decal on it, which disappeared sometime shortly after the when the hood scoop was installed . Which is best I can tell happened sometime in late winter - early spring 1967 Enjoy and as always Comments or criticisms are always welcomed. Updated pics
  6. Oh believe me I have plenty to work on even if the Belv 1 body never shows But I would like to build either the Grotheer car in above epic. Or the Jere Stahl sedan SS car
  7. Thanks all Leal did in fact run a 1968 Hemi Dart ( unlikely it was an original LO23 car ) So these decals are for that car As to when , I dont remember I have a Leal Belv, but only the one and would like to build several more. But not at the typical ebay asking prices for the kit Should have bought more when they were avail I guess. Same deal for the Sox and Martin SS 1970 Cuda kit I guess
  8. Is the only difference between these 2 kits the decals and boxart ? I have the Leal version, but not the Belv version to compare the 2 side by side And sellers with the Leal car are asking insane money for them now
  9. Im die hard Mopar Have owned 4 or 5 69-70 Road Runners , Including 1 A12 car and 2 different hemi cars( a 1969 and a 1970 _ , Then 4 total 1969 GTXs , ( 2 hardtops and 2 verts )
  10. If you're wanting to be some what correct for the era Max wedge was long gone by 1965. Hemi actually took over mid year 1964 1964s were steel head , Aluminum cross ram intake with 2 carter AFBs ( most were replaced by Hollys later in the year ) 1965s were Replaced by aluminum head, magnesium cross ram intake with 2 holly's. Now, That said. its not to say some racers were still running the max wedge at that time So,,, then by all means . Its a model car. Build what you want.
  11. I always clear over decals. But do Not clear over BMF
  12. As a general rule. Dodge tends to be a slightly longer wheelbase compared to its Plymouth cousin. This applies all across the Mopar line
  13. gtx6970

    Trailer hitch

I have a couple of these. If the OP wants one, pm me . Its yours
  14. All depends on manufacturer . Put a Monogram 1970 GTX side by side with a Johan version. And the difference is very noticeable
  15. Anyone own one of these care to comment on quality I want one , maybe 2 1/25 3D printed resin 1967 Dodge D500 Car Hauler truck kit | eBay
  16. I was told years ago by someone who used to build AMT boxart kits The 1971 RR tooling was damaged Thus would never see the light of day again As to whether or not thats changed in the past 10-12 years, Ive no idea
  17. Interesting idea. I'll take a look, But I dont have one of the 68 Fury to part out , and they arent exactly cheap Might be easier / cheaper to just wait for the MCW resin body
  18. Heard back from MCW The 66 Belvedere sedan will back out soon. I can wait.
  19. Agreed I can see one of these kits in my future
  20. I have several of the Dodge kits . I'll take a look maybe later today,,,, but I think the rear glass shape is all wrong for the 66 I see MCW no longer shows the 66 Plymouth in a sedan. BUT they do show a 1966 Coronet.? So maybe !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sent him a message this morning to ask
  21. Sedan glass is in fact taller More vertical on a 1/1. Not sure it would matter that much to me in a model car
  22. Wrong Year Thats a 1965 Plus has a completely different C pillar shape to make it work
  23. I have 3 of these so have decided to cut one loose Unbuilt - untouched BUT is missing the funky wingcar parts . otherwise 100% complete My interests are late 50s - early 60s Annuals builders Drag car kits, especially Mopar stuff No interests in motor cycles, No semis , no equipment or Implements stuff And to be honest I cant say there is anything currently avail Im willing to trade with
