Here is my last complete build. It's my MOTM entry for the holiday theme. Resin 1956 Ford Country Squire. I'm thinking about a few more trees in the background. I love it even though there are a few flaws like I noticed I should have sprinkled more snow on the front end to get a comparable amount on the wreath. What else could I have done better?

Tamiya racing white exterior and Tamiya italian red with BMF ultra chrome and black chrome details interior. Missing Link dog dish caps and Scenes Unlimited steelies. Underhood decal from the Color Me Gone kit: Says Caution aluminium front end. Mirror from my parts box. Headlight lenses from ScaleProduction.de Here are some pictures, the light was really strange tonight. Hope you like it,or not, feel free to comment anyway lol. Some smaller adjustments and corrections will be adressed. Thanks for looking.

I have been away from the hobby for several years (20+). When I was last building, there was no resin casters, no photo etch, BMR, etc. Now, its like being in a candy store with whats available. But my first couple of purchases did not go well, little or no communication, l-o-n-g delivery times and bad quality parts. I was disappointed. But I thought I'd try again. I ordered tires and wheels from Scenes Unlimited and a Chevy BB from VCG Resins. Wow! Good communication, parts delivered right when they said they would and some real nice products So I'd like to thank these guys and recommend them. Great doing business with them

Here's a new '50 Olds Custom I have in the works. It will have slanted B-pillars. I may ad some other custom parts with it. This is my 4th new car this year since getting back into resin casting. Thanks for looking, Sam

Hi guys. I hope this is in the right section, if not please move to the right one. I've been slowly looking into the resin stuff, but I'm a bit reluctant to buy in the states because customs always picked my package out (Bought RC parts several times). I always had to pay about 50 bucks to get my parts so I'm not looking forward to that again. My question is: Does anyone know shops that make/sell resin stuff in 1/24 and 1/25 in Europe? Thanks in advance, Lucas.

Just started playing around with making molds/resin parts and having success so far with solid style rims (i.e. centerlines) and now experimenting with open style rims (i.e. cragar SS's) but running into issues with getting the areas between the spokes to stay open. Any tips, tricks or suggestions are welcomed.

I need some help. I a building my fist resin kit and I am stumped when it comes to the windshield. I am building a Vega panel and need tips on how to first get the curvature and then what type of glue to use. I have canopy glue (which is similiar to Elmers) but it doesn't have the strength to hold the curvature. Thanks in advance.

All, This is Bill Drennen. I want to post this message to everyone because I'm totally against anyone who produces unauthorized copies of my products or other’s products and tries to profit from copyright infringements. This eBay seller below has posted and sold "black resin" Kenworth W900L hoods and cab knock-offs of my copyrighted W900L on eBay without my consent. I asked him nicely to remove his auctions, but he did not. He left me no choice but to turn him in to eBay as well as filed a Copyright Infringement charge against him. I ask of you to please do not promote this sort of behavior by purchasing the counterfeit products and if you suspect someone of this behavior, please contact the modeler who produced the originals to verify first before you make your purchase. I, as well as others on this website have put long hard hours into making our products and have taken the funding cost to pay royalties and casters to produce our products in order to make them available to you legally. To have individuals such as this person taking advantage of our work for greed of profit is detestable. If you want to check his auctions out the numbers are listed below. And, if you know who he is, or who made these casting; I certianly want to know to take further action against those individuals producing counterfeits of my product. You can send me a private email anytime. Bill Drennen Bill Drennen Truck Models eBay Item numbers 281406857809 281406867113 271570768238 eBay ID badtxz

This Forum wasn't easy to find. Here's the Inspiration. (http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2013/10/20/hemmings-find-of-the-day-1967-lincoln-continental-2/) BLACK with BLACK 1967 Lincoln Continental 4 Door with the Vinyl removed from the Roof. A 1953 Nash (?) Flying Lady Hood Ornament was added. Hood Ornament? We don't need no Stinking Hood Ornament. If I could drive, I'd buy this 1967. The only thing I would change is... the Exhaust. For some reason... they're never loud enough. A set of Cherry Bomb Glasspacks would cure that. Here's the Victim. I'm not going to convert this into a 67. I just need a good Hardtop to fit this Body. I believe I have similar set of wheels or I can use Baby Moons or Dog Dish Wheel Covers. I've done one as a Wagon and another one (Pretty much) Factory Stock. It's time for something TWISTED. The next Contestant is a Resin Realm 1957 Chevy 210 4 door. Okay-Okay... I'll admit it, I like 4 door cars and Wagons. I haven't any pictures of the one my older brother built and drove waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the early 70's. It was all Black with Black Interior. It had a built 327c.i.d. and I can't remember if it was a Manual 3 or 4 speed trans.. I helped him change it once. It was one of those cars that you heard loooooong before you caught sight of it. Here's my dilemma, I got sick and lost some vision. I can't Re-scribe the Panel lines in the Resin Body. If there's anyone in my area of the Frozen State of Connecticut that wants an Unbuilt AMT 57 Chevy Kit: 638 in exchange for Re-scribing the Resin Body's Panel Lines, let me know. (The Unbuilt AMT 57 Chevy Kit: 638) I bought this AMT Kit: 638 because I couldn't remember which kit I needed. (The AMT 1957 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop needed and bought) As it turned out I needed the older AMT 1957 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop. I'll always remember it as the"Pepper Shaker" issue. It seems funny to me because, it was the same Brother's favorite Model kit. How weird is that? Another weird thing about this kit is... the upper Grille part that's supposed open with the Hood... doesn't. I can still build... albeit slowly and carefully. If I couldn't... my Doctor wouldn't be happy with my Demeanor, his new nickname and choice of Colorful Metaphors hurled at him. I can live without driving but not cars.

I'm trying to build a replica of a 57 Chevy 210 4 door my brother drove waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the 70's. I bought a resin 57 Chevy 210 4 door but, I ran into a bit of a snag. It seems that heart attack number 12 cost me more than just 4 bypasses. I lost partial vision in my left eye in the form of a dark line that crosses my eye at about a 40 degree angle, fuzzy vision in the right and I can't seem to keep my hands from shaking. The latter may be because of the medications I have to take. When I bought the Resin 57, I also bought 2 AMT 57s. 1 fairly new reissue of the old "Pepper Shaker" and the new issue with the opening trunk. I bought the newer issue because I couldn't remember which one of the two I needed to finish the resin one off. As it turnes out, I needed the early AMT issue. The problem with the resin model is the door and trunk lines need to be scribed better and I'm in no hurry to lop a finger off. I'm hoping there's someone in my area that can scribe these for me. I'd be more than happy to give up the other 57 Chevy model to get this done. It's still in the box and and unbuilt. Next question, Can the Alclad Chrome process be used with a Testors 9215 ACRYL MODEL CAR SPRAY PAINT SET? I can't get a straight answer from Testors or Alclad and I've tried to use an Airbrush and failed on several occasions. Thanks.

Was looking at some of the parts this person is selling on Ebay and they look familiar. Wanted to get the pro street tubs. Anyone get parts from this Castenparts person and if so, how was delivery and quality? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Resin-Pro-Street-Back-Half-Chassis-W-Tubs-/221309191326?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item33870e449e

Hey Everyone, I'm working on a Revell Ford Escort Turbo Street Machine kit, and would like to kitbash it to make my own version of what a MKIII Escort should look like. So far I've found the Technoracing TV-R wheels (Fujimi), Recaro Trophy seats (The Parts Box), and some awesome Weber side-draft carbs (The Parts Box) that have all either already been ordered or are soon to be ordered. Now, I've still got a list of parts that I'm looking to purchase if they are made, and would like some help on where to find them. I'd be happy to make any purchase in either resin or plastic, and would appreciate any tips or hints you might be able to provide. Thanks so much! -Fender flares -Side-draft carburetors (not Weber) -Side-draft individual throttle bodies -Ford Sierra RS500 spoiler -Ford Escort RS Cosworth spoiler -15" BBS RS/RM wheels -Hood vents What I'm looking for is European tuner/hot hatch parts. Though some of them work, all I'm having much luck with are Japanese and American-style tuner parts. Thanks so much for any and all help! Regards, Matt

I think that this is one of the most beautiful trucks ever made. I have never seen a kit offered, and I'm wondering if any of you know if there is a resin offering of the 1955 Studebaker pickup.

Are you old enough to remember when new cars were hidden under tarps or covers or behind curtains on the showroom floor until "New Car Introduction Day"? Well, here's sort of a "Look What I Got Today" . . . 6 days late. Unfortunately, it's not quite 'Introduction Day' yet. The factory is busy cranking out some inventory before lifting the veil. But be patient . . . this one is well worth the wait! I garrohntee! But, seriously, look what followed me home last Wednesday. "New Model Introduction Day" Coming Very Soon at the Top Cop Shop in the Great Southwest. (PS: My "good" camera took a dive and is permanently 10-7. So, I resurrected an ancient one ~ please forgive the low resolution pic.)

Picked up an opened AMT '62 Bel Air 409 off of evilbay it's missing both intake manifolds and nothing else. It came with photo etch wipers and full detail kit so the two intakes missing is a nuisance that I'll live with I guess. Question - who makes a resin intake manifold for the 409? Dual four barrels would be nice but, Webers would be so fine!
