Vric Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) After doing my Honda F1 RA272, I started my first Ebbro kit with the Lotus Type 49 1967 The quality of the kit surprised me. I used some parts from Accustation. boy these guys don't know what "value for money" mean and the instructions are useless if you are mot Japanese fluent.. Hope you enjoy! Edited May 14, 2015 by Vric
Matt T. Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Beautiful build! Detail is stunning. Firestones are gorgeous.
Crazy Ed Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Although there might have been something lost in the translation for the detail parts you've managed to bring it all together, And taken some Great Pics to show the details to boot! Well Done Eric.
DrGlueblob Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 That racer was always the epitome of "Racecar" to me. VERY fine work, it looks so real...
Plastheniker Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Iconic F1 car + nice kit + excellent execution + perfect photography =
sjordan2 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Spectacular is a very small word for this kind of craftsmanship.
Twokidsnosleep Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Very sharp, vey nicely done and well photographed
peekay Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I can only agree with what's been said - fantastic job on this!
bbowser Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Outstanding! One of my all time favorite race cars. What scale is that?
Bill Eh? Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) Ebbro F-1 kits are 1/20, probably to correspond with Tamiya's line. Edited May 14, 2015 by Bill Eh?
bogger44 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Holy smokes that is beautiful! Fantastic build and pictures.
Vric Posted May 15, 2015 Author Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the great comments! great build -what scale is it? It's 1/20, like tamiya and most F1 kits. Compared to the Honda ra272, the Lotus is quite a bit bigger in size, but both are 1/20. Thanks again! Edited May 15, 2015 by Vric
Twokidsnosleep Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) I have both of those as Tamiya kits in my stash pile....I think I will keep them there and ponder how to do half as good a job as you have done. Never built an Ebbro..or seen one before. Those are really fantastic, excellent attention to detail, photography and all Good on Ya ,eh Edited May 17, 2015 by Twokidsnosleep
