Stray Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 That there be a glorious '70 man. One of my favourite muscle cars ever. Really nice clean build.
mikemopar70 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Very Nice Chevelle, awesome paint finish and very cleanly built.
crazyjim Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Nice and SHINY :) . AMT used to have a spray can just about that color.
oneescalante Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) Great clean modeling! Did you clear coat over the bmf? Also is this the same kit as the jack reacher release? Edited May 30, 2015 by oneescalante
Monty Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Color is 1970 Chevrolet code 45 Green Mist Poly I don't think I've seen that color on a model before, but it absolutely pops. Nice work!
StevenGuthmiller Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Very Sharp! I love the color! Very unusual for a '70 Chevelle. Nice work! Steve
Fitzy Posted May 30, 2015 Author Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) Great clean modeling! Did you clear coat over the bmf? Also is this the same kit as the jack reacher release? I Use all PPG Refinish products after applying the Acrylic Lacquer color I wait a day and apply two coats of Acrylic Lacquer Clear coat I will then let it air dry for couple weeks sand it smooth with soapy water and 2000 grit paper apply decals / stripes let them dry out for couple days the apply two coats of Acrylic Urethane Clear coat usually use DAU 82 Delglo it's a very nice and durable gloss and very airbrush friendly to use. The Chevelle Kit I used is the same as the Jack Reacher Kit Edited May 30, 2015 by Fitzy
