Don Grahamn throws a 2-day model contest at the Kalifornia Kustoms Kar show every Memorial Day Weekend in Santa Maria, California.

I've never fancied building models of custom cars, but Don challenged us to give it a try.

My buddy Raul Perez gave me a couple of lead sleds for this occasion, a Pontiac Bonneville and a Buick "Low-Rider" Riviera.

I went with the Buick and wanted to do a "Panel Paint" job on it.

Picked up some Pegasus wheels, fat tires out of the parts bin...sprayed the white walls on with a circle guide and Tamiya's white primer.

The murals are decals glossed over with MM UltraGloss Clearcoat.

I found out real fast, to be good at painting panels - it's gonna take a lot of practice!!!

Well any way, here's the Buick:

I don't see anything wrong with it I'm but a lowrider guy but I like it you did a good job on it
