Some trimming and sanding on the floor pan and bottom on the interior tub will give a better fit.

A retool of this kit using the 67 parts would be nice.

Still a good looking kit that can build up nicely with some patience.

post-13094-0-24320000-1436729380_thumb.jA few suggestions. Mask off the emblems or use Keith Marks decals. Buy the tail lights aftermarket and cut them out of the chrome panel. Buy aftermarket radiator, shock tower braces and inner fender panels. Sorry for the lousy picture but you get the idea. Even better, add plug wires, a coil and voltage regulator, etc.

Have you seen the optional wheels in the AMT '66 Mustang Coupe kit?  They are pretty good '68 Shelby replicas.

Something to look into?

That door handle trick is one for the ages. I mean,,,,, really, I didn't think of that? I'm watching as this is one of my next projects.
