Sledsel Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 (edited) Some trimming and sanding on the floor pan and bottom on the interior tub will give a better fit. A retool of this kit using the 67 parts would be nice. Still a good looking kit that can build up nicely with some patience. Edited July 13, 2015 by Sledsel
mustang1989 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Cool! I built this one about 20 years ago and it was a dog of a kit. Will be watching.....
RAMBENNA Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I started one of these, will be great to follow along
vamach1 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 A few suggestions. Mask off the emblems or use Keith Marks decals. Buy the tail lights aftermarket and cut them out of the chrome panel. Buy aftermarket radiator, shock tower braces and inner fender panels. Sorry for the lousy picture but you get the idea. Even better, add plug wires, a coil and voltage regulator, etc.
safak Posted July 20, 2015 Author Posted July 20, 2015 (edited) Thanks friends,I will consider proposals.. ........................................... Edited July 20, 2015 by safak
vamach1 Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Great start. Are you doing the "regular" or KR version?
Ford guy Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Have you seen the optional wheels in the AMT '66 Mustang Coupe kit? They are pretty good '68 Shelby replicas.Something to look into?
