bbowser Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 This may have been the toughest model I've ever done. Even though it's 1/24, it's pretty small and spindly. I am very happy with the way it came out however. The only thing I might do differently is add some color to the tires. They just seem too stark white. Hope you like, comments welcome.
snacktruck67 Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Actually I think the tires the way they are make it stand out.
Harry P. Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Beautiful! Excellent job. And to me, the tires look great. I wouldn't change a thing, this one is a real beauty!

bbowser Posted August 11, 2015 Author Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) Beautiful! Any engine pics? Is that the ICM kit? Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments! ICM kit, I also have the '11 in the stash for later. Lee, I tried to take some engine pics but it's buried so far in I couldn't get a decent shot. I should have taken some while it was under construction. Just paint detailing, I didn't add any wiring or hoses. Here's a couple shots.... Edited August 13, 2015 by bbowser add pics
dimaxion Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Beautiful build of the Car that "Put the World on Wheels" . Carbon Black was not part of the Tire Formula for Automobiles . Some was accidentally spilled into a Batch while researching for a longer lasting Compounds . Due to the cost of each batch , the decision was made to test this new compound . Viola Success ! Somewhere during 1914 , Black Tires were available in Premium Brand Names , I am unable to find the MY Henry supplied all Black-wall tires to his Automobiles . His cars did use Premium Materials . PERIOD . Mr. Ford were Produced Cars of efficiency , not cost cutting . Thanx ..
