pturley84 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Here is on of my latest builds, Its the Tamiya Subaru WRC 2002. I built it and the diorama base for it. The kit came with two figures for the inside, but they are hard to see with the weathering I applied to the kit. Thanks for looking!

Roncla Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Now that's a real eye catcher . The ' dust ' really gives your diorama life. Well done. I'll be checking out your YouTube channel.

GlueTube Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 What did you use for the dust clouds and how did you color it?RegardsBrian Kroon
PatW Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 WOW, I've seen so many of these on the stages but your dio is something else! As Bernard asks how did you do that?
pturley84 Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 Thanks everyone! To answer a couple of questions: Yes there is a driver and co-driver in the car that the kit came with. I'll have to get a pic of them. Also, The dust cloud was achieved buy using Poly-fill, which is the stuffing you can buy at the craft store for pillows and stuffed animals. I colored it with my airbrush.
Belugawrx Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Beautiful car and Dio Paul !Excellent ground work thereGreat idea with the poly fillCheers
kruleworld Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 The ' dust ' really gives your diorama life. .i agree. it's something i've not seen done before.
Cpt Tuttle Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 If it weren't for the background, one would believe that it was a picture of the real car "in action", the dust really gives everything life, one of the coolest dios I've seen!
Jeremy Jon Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Awesome build Paul, great Dio, Nicely done!!
