Mad Viking Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 A simple kit but a lot of fun. Painted with Model Master metallic black & flame red. Roof was sprayed with Dullcoat & tires & wheels are from parts box. Interior is detailed & engine is wired.
XJ6 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 What can I say just a Cool looking Build ??Don aka XJ6 ?
Harry P. Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Very nice, but that "magic floating generator" isn't fooling anyone...
Mad Viking Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 Very nice, but that "magic floating generator" isn't fooling anyone... LOL!!! I agree.
Mad Viking Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 Very nice, but FYI, it is a Monogram kit, not AMT.You are correct sir. I was going from memory & apparently it's not too good.
Mad Viking Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 Those wheels are a big improvement. IMOThey're some "Cragar" type wheels I had kicking around so I mixed some paint & painted the spokes grey. I didn't really care for the big full moon hubcaps that came with the kit either.
gardnerpag44 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Very nice looking build , like the paint choices
TooOld Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Really nice update of a classic Monogram kit , the paint and the wheels and tires are perfect for it ! And you're right , those simple kits can be lots of fun !
Sixties Sam Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Nice build of a classic kit! The wheels look good! Sam
