Tom Geiger
It was a misunderstanding. Donald Trump is so far from reality, he thought that's what cars cost.

slusher
A car valued that expensive is something you can't drive and enjoy, if any small damage occurred it would decrease the value..

bobthehobbyguy
For that much I'd rather have a Ferrari or another exotic. Most people are not going to know what they are looking at. Besides it was bought as an investment and not to be used.
gtx6970
Hemi Cuda convertibles have been deep into 7 figures for many years now.And I know of quite a few that get driven on a regular basis ,, One guy I know has a 1970 Hemi Cuda vert as well as a 1970 Hemi Challenger vert,,he takes them both on drives quite often so,,,, not all of them are garage queens

Joe Handley
For that much I'd rather have a Ferrari or another exotic. Most people are not going to know what they are looking at. Besides it was bought as an investment and not to be used.I've got a friend who works in a shop that repairs exotics and many european cars when they break, if he won the lotto or somehow came into that kind of money, he'd just restore the ex Michigan State Police Crown Vic he dailys. John Clutch
As much as Im a car guy, I dont think I could dish out that much cash for a car. Im sure that amount wasnt even a notch in the new owners bank account though.
1972coronet
That's cheap.... Earlier this year Mecum also sold a '71 Hemi 'cuda Convertible for $3.5 Million.... far fewer 1971's were built ; 11 total : 7 for U.S. destinations , 2 for Canadian consumption , and 2 exports to france . Surprisingly all of them are accounted for (!!) . The exports are special in that , aside from their export status , they were both the first one built ( GA4 Winchester Grey 4-speed ) and the last one built ( GW1 Sno-White automatic ) .
