My first official post here on the forum!  2 1/2 year project of Shane Stewart's 2012 Knoxville 360 Nationals winning sprint car.  Mostly scratchbuilt model, only used around 20 parts from the kit, the rest was scratchbuilt or an aftermarket part.  The frame and body panels were scratchbuilt, and had some help from my good friend Mark Johnson building the fuel injection and valve covers, which turned out great!  Used parts from The Parts Box, RB Motion, Dirtmodeler, Scale Hardware, Detail Master, Protech, & Micro Nitro to complete the build, and decals from Scale Sprints.   I left the left front wheel off of the hub to display the Scale Hardware nuts and bolts on the hub, and to show the brake detail.  Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the nice comments guys, I appreciate them!  Yes, 1/24th scale based off of the Monogram kit.  That kit is so outdated I tried to update as much as I could on it to make it current.

I attend Knoxville weekly as well, one of these days I will make it out to the Grove!

I don't know much about sprint cars but that looks great.  Really nice work.  I especially like the engine work.

Welcome to the forum!

These just fascinate me, as we don't see these here in the UK!

It looks just amazing well done Scott.

I'll have to look into getting one of these kits imported.
