I too am interested in the 66 Fleetside.

But, I believe that will be the 64/65 kit marked as a 66.

Ad will include the incorrect Cameo type fleetside box.

Sure wish they would retool that part to separate the outer box sides/Fenders

to make a Correct Fleetside!!!!

Also betting it stays Shortbox like the 64-65 kits!!

That is ok as long as they Do give us Correct 66 Trim, etc!!!

Not much difference between the '64, '65, and '66 pickups, is there?  Except side badging, maybe?   I would assume by Ford GT they mean the 2017 one.    The '64 and '65 are nice kits, though I'd love to see them tool up something new, like a '67-68 Chevy step side, for instance...

Huh?  The Revell Fleetside box is correct, nothing 'Cameo' about it that I can see... the Cameo was a '55-57 box.   Why would would it make a difference if the fenders are molded to the box, instead of separate?  Plenty of pickup kits have the box and fenders molded as one piece....

Revell's Fleetside box has the outer fenders and bed floor molded as one piece.  Construction and alignment are simplified, but the way it is molded gives the effect of double-walled bed sides, which the 1:1 trucks did not have.  The SMP/AMT annual kits got it more correct in this detail.

Not to single out Revell...the AMT/Ertl '60 Fleetside (issued around the same time as Revell's '64) has its pickup bed designed pretty much the same way.

Yeah, I never thought anything of it...double wall is better anyway, more dent resistant from loads than single wall..

The above is Why I call the 64 Shortboxe Fleetside a Cameo type and Not correct Fleetside

Yes it make alignment simple, but does NOT repr4esent the actual design of the truck

And Correct AMT's Modern Tool 60 Shortbox was done the Same way

It gives the Fleetside box the Look of the Cameo

Stepside box with the outer box sides/fenders attached

For those who don't mind or care, it's no big deal

I altered mine. It is Not that hard, though it took a Second pickup bed to do so.

Hmmm...   a few of us have been trying to convince them to do a Suburban on that 64-66 platform.  Don't know if a reissue is a good sign or a bad sign for that coming true.

I hope the Camaro has the hidden headlight grille.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Snap GT will be the new one. Judging by the stock number (85-1987) it's what they now call a "Level 2" snap kit, not the Level 1 Build N Play type.  The old-style snap kits with clear headlights and more detail.

Hopefully we'll get a '63 Corvette that's a full detail kit.

A full-detail '63 Vette is easily kitbashed for anyone who really wants one. I can think of at least two different ways to do it.

Yes a suburban would be really nice but it would render my R & R resin body useless :)

Few other ones I just saw listed as coming soon on my supplier's website

1/25 2014 Mustang GT (Orange w/Black Stripe)

1/25 2015 Corvette Stingray Foose Design (Silver/Black)

1/25 2013 Challenger SRT8 Foose Design (Green/Black)

I assume these are all the same as the models currently out there, just different color combos for the bodies, and in the case of the Vette and Challenger, Foose design wheels with them.

Has anyone purchased the new release, Revell Kenworth w900 wrecker? (new box, blue and white)

I purchased three of them from a mail order hobby shop, and all were missing the wrecker boom, over a hundred parts.

I feel confident it's the new one because it's designated as a "GT" and not a "GT-40." Looking forward to that one.
