Brent Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 (edited) A build I did awhile back. Major work was done to get the stance. Interior needed to be reworked to make room for the tires.Lower box doors and engine door was opened up to show the engine (This kit was a curb side so added an engine). Top box rails were also made functional. Added bucket seats and a console to finish it off. Edited December 13, 2015 by Brent Re loaded pictures
peter31a Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 For some reason the pictures look a little wonky but the build looks gorgeous. Lots of work obviously went into this build. Kudos!
Brent Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 Thx Pete. Not sure what is going on with the pictures. I resized them a little smaller. I think that fixed it.

Tom Geiger Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Very cool build. I always loved the old Type 2s and you really brought this one to life. I like all the opening panels and the working bed sides. Those were very versatile work trucks.
Sixties Sam Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Very nice! The working bed sides are cool!Sam
pharoah Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Great build! I've built one of those ,and yes,you did a LOT of work to it.

peekay Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I can also see a lot of work here. Could have easily got messy but you pulled it off brilliantly!
jasoncardenas21 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Being a huge VW guy and owner of a 70 Bus, this is a great build. Good Job.
