Revell Peterbilt 359 *engine*

Thanks guys, I've just be following a guy on YouTube that's been showing dash detailing so I used some of his method. Only I prefer to use bare metal foil as the base layer so you can get the chrome trim effect. It's just black washes in the gauges.

for wood grain I paint the whole area in tan, then put random lines of dark brown and black around. Then go over with really thinned down tamiya clear red, or orange depending on the color you want the wood, clear yellow could be used to,Then I clear everything and then go back with black artist oil to add some depth.  Just add it in some spots right from the tube and lightly blend it out. I don't use it like a "wash"
