CometMan Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I suppose I should chime in about the "car" and the "lady", but I'm simply at a loss for words!!!
Joe Handley Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Unless the engine runs ...Smog era motor, I doubt that.
stavanzer Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 So, What's the front look like?I've got enough Vette and Caddy kits to do the rear, but, I'm not sure what the front is.Chevy, Maybe?
Deano Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 There are photos online that appear to be this car before the 'Caddy Fin Improvement'. Here's a front 3/4 shot:
unclescott58 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Just shot me now! What is this person thinking?
Joe Handley Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Just shot me now! What is this person thinking? Not sure, but I think meth may have been involved....
Harry P. Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Here's the story on this thing. It sold on ebay in 2011 for $5,199...http://www.corvetteblogger.com/2011/09/15/corvettes-on-ebay-1977-rat-rod-custom-corvette-pickup/
Atmobil Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I think it looks better with the caddy fins than before it got them but I still sould not call it pretty or cool. I guess bizarre is the only good word for it. There is always some freaks in this world and the we all would be poorer without them.
stavanzer Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Man! I wonder if it will be sold again?I'd Own and Drive that thing. Just for the Shock Value.
CometMan Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 What a shame to waste a nice stop sign like that!!!
lordairgtar Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 At least one could drive the car. The woman? How does one even get a job looking like that unless in the circus?
charlie8575 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Oh my Bill, she's a vision ! : ) From a drug-induced nightmare! Much like that car. Charlie Larkin
charlie8575 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Not sure, but I think meth may have been involved.... Think? I'm quite certain.Charlie Larkin
kenb Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 That woman is a lawyer, YES you heard me right! A lawyer. Just google her, Maria Cristerna. Someone was just recently showing me a picture of her. As far as the car goes, hell, I'd drive that thing. Looks like its made from junk and scrap parts, so nothing lost. Ken
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 That woman is a lawyer, YES you heard me right! A lawyer. Former lawyer, actually. And she's an artist and tattoo parlor owner, besides being an activist for abused women's rights in Mexico. Consideralbly more socially-redeeming value than the car in the OP. http://aplus.com/a/Maria-Jose-Cristerna-most-tattooed-woman
XJ6 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Not sure, but I think meth may have been involved.... Yep believe you are right ?
Dann Tier Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 File this under "Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD"agree
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I don't know... I've never really cared much for corvettes, but this one does have personality. What kind, I'm not sure of. It is definitely an original, a head turner, and a conversation piece. Do you think any Bondo was involved??? or maybe chicken wire and wood screws????
DeeCee Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 That is hideous,.....actually both are hideous...
knarf Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 That is hideous,.....actually both are hideous... x2
Sledsel Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 How do you attach steel fenders onto a fiberglass body? DUCT TAPE!
