Now this is a LONG LOST kit! I sure wish, hope it's molded in white, but I suspect it'll be in the color you see here. Odd to see the two Porsche 934 versions--those were done previously by Tamiya in those same liveries. Too bad the Isetta is not 1/24th. That was out maybe 10 years ago as Revell of Germany release also...not sure when it was last available a a US Revell/Monogram release...80s?

niteowl7710 Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 AMG GT and 570S are most excellent. I hope that Isetta sells sufficiently to justify downscaling it to 1/24, as the Gunze Sanyo one is a small ransom if you can find one. A nice new full detail Isetta in the "right" scale would be great.

I know it will be a lot cheaper then the Tamiya but I would've liked too see them do a 2016 911, or a new tool 1963 911stocked over the 570s. Great to see a non-race car modern Mclaren done, and I'm happy it's not the P1

Would be cool to see a new modern American truck (sorry if this is the wrong place to mention it). I'm very pleased with the AMG and McLaren though.
DeTomaso Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 If the photos used are correct the Porsche 934 looks to be way ahead of the Tamiya.Better headlights,wheels, correct tyres and all the sponsor logos.On the Jager picture it appears to have a seperate front hood and brake ducting,so possibly a full detail kit.Hopefully the arch extensions and air dam are seperate as well,making other versions a lot easier.Surprised that they started with this one but very good news for 930 series fans.

Me enthused What I find odd, of all the 1/8 molds, they get the Corvette stingray out, again. I'd rather see any of the Camaro's Thunderbirds etc... Or even the Jaguar. OR what about the 85 Corvette...

Luc Janssens Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 (edited) nice to see your comments. in my german forum, the "godbuilders" *lol* are sick of the news, revell will bring next year. tooo many wishes...i feel ok with the kits they bring.the Isetta is plastic, think, i will get one. like Luc wrote, the Porsches are new tools.im exciting about the 1/32 beetle - perfect slotcar.There always will be a difference in what the decision makers will tool and what the model enthusiast want.What we enthusiasts don't see is the total sales numbers of their SKU's (bar code) also in this day and ago for such a volume model kit giant, they rather play it safe, thus IMHO pick a subject they know, will sell in large numbers which in turn keep the cost per unit low, then pick subjects of which they fear will perform less, which in turn will drive up the unit price.The question is if consumers of model kits under the Revell brand will accept premium price tags from them or not.On the other hand if you don't invest in subjects like a Opel Commodore A GS/E, Manta B GS/E, Kadett GT/E or a Ford Capri or Cortina or Escort Mk-1 how will they find out, if there's a big enough market for those subjects?Maybe Heller will clear the path.... It would fit in quite well with the recent Citroens, Renaults, Minis, and Trabants but 1/16 puts it into another interest group. Hopefully they scale it down for a future release.
