...and decided you wanted to drop a mil or two in underwriting the tooling and production of an all-new kit or two from an established manufacturer, what would it be?

I think I'd start with 1965 Buick Skylark GS and 1965 Olds 4-4-2 kits from Revell. I'd make sure they got the roof right, unlike their '65 Chevelle.

And then I'd have them tool up a correct, non Z16 body for that Chevelle and reissue it with an L79 small block.

Hmmm. Contribute to tooling and manufacturing costs to make the Uncertain T a reality. Invest with Revell to create a 1968/69 Buick Skylark/GS/Special kit. Invest with Moebius to create tooling for a Studebaker Starlight Coupe and a Golden Hawk that can be converted to a Packard Hawk with additional parts included. Invest with Round 2 to repair existing tooling of kits they want to bring out but are missing key items. Also to redo the 65 Buick Skylark. Invest with Airfix to release a Humber Super Snipe in 1/24th scale. Invest with any of the Japanese model kit makers to create a line of Australian muscle cars...Ford Falcon, Chrysler Valiant Charger, Holden Monaro. These would have to be full detail kits. Purchase all remaining JoHan tooling and supplies from whomever owns it to consolidate and perhaps allow a kit maker to purchase or lease said tooling after all is inventoried, repaired and whatever they might need.

I would give my wife half tell her "See Ya Have a nice life" Move to Hawaii and open up Mikes 1017 Gentlemen's  Club.

I know it wont happen but if it did and i did not die of a heart attack....

Id share it with people that have been nice to me and ones I know that need help.

Pay off all our debts.

Id get a house built or bought for us that is big enough and nice with a real place to build for me.

Then Yes...id help fund some long overdue kits that need to be done for everyone.

After that I would probably try to find some kits/promos that mean something to me.

Mike makes the most sense. First, drop the anchor and you won't worry about her telling you how to spend it. THEN, you can think about tooling. Let's see....tooling......gentlemen's club........tooling...pfft.... yeah, right.....

Boy that kinda backwards thinkin. You'd make hand over fist with Gentleman's club versus the hobby shop.

I'd buy a Gentleman's Club and turn it into a hobby shop.

Well actually, your on the right track. Buy a gentleman's club, then put a hobby shop up next door. To fulfill the excuse they have to go in the shop and buy stuff.

There are a lot of choices out there.  I would start with '55- '57 Pontiacs, including the three years of the original Safaris.  Then I would use the chassis tooling, and the CAD work for the common GM parts to do '55 - '57 Oldsmobiles and Buicks.   As long as I was that far along with the tooling, I would also toss out a 1/25 scale '56 Bel Air.  By the time I had done Hardtops, Coupes, Convertibles and wagons from B.P.O. in all three years, I will have gone through most of the two million.

Other thoughts include doing a '64 Chevelle, and following up with '64 and '65 Cutlasses, Buick Specials and Pontiac Tempest/GTO .  I might toss in some wagons (Vista Cruiser, anyone)   Another one would be a 1961-1966 Ford pickup.  My other pet project would be the commercially unfeasible , but really cool, 1971-1973 boat tailed Buick Rivieras.  If the jackpot was really high, I'd do a Mack B.

I might have to win powerball a couple of times in a row :P

Models would probably be the farthest thing from my mind, but once the dust settled & I had lots of time to build due to early retirement & a giant new shop to do it in, my first investment would be a cheap one.

I'd jump on Moebius to do a retool of the '56 Chrysler 300 into a '56 Desoto hardtop, followed by a convertible to do a pace car version.

Then for the larger check, I'd love to see either Revell or Moebius do a 1961 Oldsmobile Starfire.

Might be an easy one for Moebius with the recent release of the '61 Ventura.

I'd also go along with a new '57 GM kit.

Olds, Buick or Cadillac........or maybe all three! :D
