Can-Con
Well,, she's on hold again. Not because of flooding this time at least. While gluing a couple mounting tabs to the back bumper, I smeared lacquer thinner on it. So, stripped and back off to Dale to be replated ,, again. Including the initial replating after the seam and guard removal this will be the third time I've had to have this bumper redone.

Can-Con
Thanks Carl. The car's almost done and I'll finish it up while the bumper's out. Just need to permanently attach the chassis plate to the body and finish up under the hood. I checked and I will still be able to attach the bumper after everything else is done so no worries. David G.
Wow, great progress up until the dreaded bumper incident. Hopefully they can get it turned around quickly for you. David G.
Can-Con
When I went to drill holes for the hoses in the front of the engine I found that there's no place to put them. So, I sanded the front of the engine flat and added the front of an MPC 440. Not the cleanest work I've done but it's gett'n done.
Ace-Garageguy
Engine looks good, but I believe you'd have a pretty serious short the way the battery is wired.

LOL ,, Just easier to paint one wire attached at both ends then two with loose ends. Then I just snip it and run the ends to where they need to go. Can-Con
Actually, it's all finished except for the back bumper. Gonna be a few weeks before it's back. When that happens I'll post a full set of pics. But for now, here's the engine bay and a teaser pic.

Deepened the door and trunk lines and worked a bit on the repaired areas on the hood and front fenders.

Can-Con
Got the back bumper back from LMKCo today. It's attached and I just need to find a suitable licence plate before taking the pics. Should have the pics up real soon. Thanks again on all the kind comments and suggestions on the car.
