exesivefire Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) Finally got this one done, just in time for the Ohio Challenge at the Buckeye Classic this upcoming weekend. If you are interested in a build thread you can view that here; Went with a "second chance" theme here that seems to be popular in the 1:1 world. I envision an abandoned Cuda found, engine and drive train gone through, add a straight axle, blower and some slicks, leave the body as-is and have fun tearing up the town and strip. Spex84 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Love it. Bold color choices, great balance of color and detail (I particularly like the white-letter rear tires vs the purple/black body) and a truly gnarly stance. Nice photos too!
Dann Tier Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 In some strange way, I like it!! great weathering! -Well done!!
exesivefire Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Thanks again guys, I had a lot of fun with this one
Maindrian Pace Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 The coolest. It looks just like what most of the '70s street freak builders had in mind, and would have built if they could have.
Daddyfink Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Very cool! And thanks for not calling it a "Gasser"! This is truly a Street Freak!
Snake45 Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Very different and therefore very interesting! It's hard to imagine anyone doing this to a classic 'Cuda today, but then, that's what our models are for. Very interesting using the Cuda scoop for the blower. Don't think I've seen that before. Nice touch!
Alan Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 KILLER!!!!! I this A LOT! Great job of capturing the era Andy ..... Love it Alan
62pyro Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Turned out great. Now Taylor wants to know when you're going to get something done with the fancy plastic box.
