Hey guys.  Here's my little 57 Cameo.  I want it in the weeds.  I cheated by gluing the axles to the frame sans springs.  The paint is Wicked Colors Pearl Tangerine over silver with Rustoleum Crystal Clear Enamel clear coat.

Great start, I love that color!

You can easily make some reverse leaf spring mounts though for more realistic lowering :)

JD, I'm not a big fan of the Cameo. But I AM a big fan of a Good Looking Paint Job AND Good Photography. On both counts Well Done!

I know.  :)  I should probably do that.  I have another Cameo on the shelf.

I have been able to get a little more done to the Cameo.  I made a bed cover out of an old CD jewel case.  I have found that the kit chrome is in pretty bad shape.  I think I will strip it and shoot Alclad.

I like your thinking about getting it down ... we all need to just have fun and not get too detailed about things that wont be seen.  :D

It is looking really good!

It's getting closer to completion.  I shoehorned the motor from the 2006 Camaro Concept into the engine bay.

You're such a cheating cheater! Looks great :D

I have one of these on the bench, and trying to notch the frame/build suspension links/etc etc really stalled it. I should have just glued the axles to the frame!

I like the forward rake you gave this truck, and the orange paint is unique. Sweet.
