YBlock292 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I built this 56 Nomad slightly customized by adding some Edelbrock parts and installing a manual transmission. I also replaced the ww-tires by a set of wheels (Chevy's rallye wheels) taken from a 69 Nova and put on some chromed exhaust tubes. To give the car not the typical two tone 50s look, I deleted some of the emblems and painted it in one color only.
charlie8575 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Not a bad job at all. Nice color.Charlie Larkin
Crazy Ed Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 That is one Really Nice Nomad. And You picked what to me was the Best Year of the "Tri - 5's".
Volksfan Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I love that engine. The Chevy engine red makes in pop with the blue paint.?
Shardik Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 NICE! Your engine detailing is very nice and the interior looks stunning. The horn wiring is an especially nice touch.
espo Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 You really got the look of a nice daily driver from that time period. Every one has a favorite Tri Five, mine is the '56.
MrBuick Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Great looking Nomad! I've always thought the '56's were the best looking Tri-Fives.
John Teresi Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Ludwig.....love what you did with this model.....very clean and very well built
YBlock292 Posted April 5, 2016 Author Posted April 5, 2016 Thank You guys! I appreciate that You like the solid color paint and the mild modifications I applied to this station wagon.
