DeeCee Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 This was a quickie build, something nice and easy, and got it done in about 10 days. ( nights).. Pretty stock apart from some lowering and a modern set of wheels..
mustang1989 Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 10 days???????? Are you retired or something Dale? That looks good to begin with but 10 days? Wow!
DeeCee Posted July 2, 2016 Author Posted July 2, 2016 10 days???????? Are you retired or something Dale? That looks good to begin with but 10 days? Wow! Not retired mate, just divorced!! So when i want to build models, I CAN!! Thanks very much too..
James2 Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Very clean and nicely done, I like everything about it except the red stripe.
DeeCee Posted July 2, 2016 Author Posted July 2, 2016 Very clean and nicely done, I like everything about it except the red stripe. Thanks James, and after posting the pics, i have already removed the red stripe, it does not look right..
Burnout Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Nice looking model. No matter how much free time, that is very impressive for just ten days!
James2 Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Thanks James, and after posting the pics, i have already removed the red stripe, it does not look right..repost pix?
DeeCee Posted July 3, 2016 Author Posted July 3, 2016 repost pix? Here it is with out the red stripe, and thanks guys.
Foxer Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Very nice, but 10 days! .. it takes me 20 days just to gawk a new kit! Very good looking, especially the interior.
carrucha Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Good job. I wish I could finish a build in 10 days. The red interior really pops against the silver body.
Helix Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 With or without the red stripe, she looks fine to me Dale Very tidy build mate
Jantrix Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Thanks James, and after posting the pics, i have already removed the red stripe, it does not look right..Oh I disagree. For me, contrast is very important on a car. Which is why I never seem to like anything modern. The stripe was a great bit of contrast in an awful lot of silver. Maybe try again with some red decal paper rather than the mylar (or whatever it was you used).
darthsideous Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 The entire build looks fantastic. What did you use on the headlights they look realistic.
