DeeCee Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) The plan was to replicate the Hotwheels "Mild Mill" 32 Ford.. This started as a Revell 32 Ford,, i lengthened the front fenders, chopped the roof, shortened the cab and filled it, that was the front half. Then i used the rear part of the chassis from a Top Fuel dragster, the engine is from the S'cool Bus kit, and scratch built the scoop. Flat floored the original part of the chassis, and used some huge aftermarket wheels on the rear. Pretty well, the only thing i have not touched is the hood. Paint is Auto acrylic with hand brushed flames. Edited September 2, 2016 by DeeCee
Crazy Ed Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 This sure isn't something I'd generally be interested in, but Dale I'd say you did one heck of a job replicating that Hot Wheels Car! Nicely Done.

Nicely Done.Could not have said it better myself.Makes me wonder tho - with the "Moon" tank on the front of the grill and the engine/Nitrous tanks out back, what's under the hood?
Spex84 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Wow, that's nuts! It must have taken a ton of work to re-shape the front fenders like that. I think it's cool that you've retained the overall proportions and styling of the Hot Wheels car. Really cool result
Foxer Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Wonderful job replicating that beast ... subjects for '32 Rods is getting short.
JTalmage Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Wild! I love it. Great job bringing it up a few scales bigger
Lunajammer Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 You really captured it! A lot of hard work paid off. Pretty cool.
Maindrian Pace Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Great job, buncha neat Hotwheels™ builds on here lately.
DeeCee Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 Could not have said it better myself. Makes me wonder tho - with the "Moon" tank on the front of the grill and the engine/Nitrous tanks out back, what's under the hood? NOTHING.. Just flat floored it to fill the void. Thanks men, just got bored with the same ol'....... and wanted something different, and it was a very enjoyable build too..
KWT Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Looks awesome! Good job! There's always been a few hotwheels that I wish where actual kits.. I'd be down..

unclescott58 Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 The car itself is a little too much for me. But, I appreciate the work you've put into. Very nice job.
