Fanof69 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 I specifically painted this one navy blue because I thought the white kit stripes would look good with that color. So of course I screwed up the decals laying them down, so now its just a navy blue Z/28. As always thanks for looking. Comments welcome.
shoopdog Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 (edited) Another awesome build there Terry. You sure have a big garden Edited September 6, 2016 by shoopdog add

bismarck Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Even without the stripes, That Camaro is SWEET!!! Great build Terry. I've always loved the lines of the 1969 Camaro.
DumpyDan Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Looks sharp without the stripes, just don't see many with out strips
Intmd8r Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Nice work.very impressed with how realistic the gauges in the centre console look, amongst other things
charger74 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Who cares about the stripes, it looks great just like that
mustang1989 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Good lookin' build Terry. Photography is good as well.
Harry P. Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Get yourself some white decal paper and cut your own stripe decals.
Misha Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Great looking Camaro Terry! Really like it without the stripes, gives it a more stealthy, aggressive look to it. Terrific build, thanks for sharing it.Cheers Misha
Snake45 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 (edited) Get yourself some white decal paper and cut your own stripe decals. Not quite that simple with factory 1G Z/28 stripes. There are curved corners and cheat lines involved. Great looking model! If the paint is metallic, it's darn close to Dusk Blue and you don't often see '69 Camaros modeled in that color (or real ones, for that matter). Edited September 6, 2016 by Snake45
bbowser Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Great color and stance, well done. I like it without the stripes, more stealth on the street for those unsuspecting Mustangs!
espo Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I also think it looks better without the stripes. When I built one I had to use two decal sets to get the stripes right. They just don't want to work on the hood and spoiler and the white will let the darker body color show thru anyway.
towman1271 Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I also agree I like it without the stripes.. Amazing job
Dann Tier Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 You did such a nice job on this build, that it looks real!! Very well done!!
Funkychiken Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) Neat build, much better than my attempt, lets see your engine! Edited September 12, 2016 by Funkychiken spelling correction
Fanof69 Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 Thanks for all the kind words everyone!! Yeah it's grown on me without the stripes so I'm gonna leave be and call it done. I also think it looks better without the stripes. When I built one I had to use two decal sets to get the stripes right. They just don't want to work on the hood and spoiler and the white will let the darker body color show thru anyway. Thanks David. Yea if it's not a perfectly flat surface the decals always give me fits Another awesome build there Terry. You sure have a big garden Thank you Keith!! Yes corn makes great neighbors!!
