RestoModGuy Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Got an ebay junk-yard snaptite kit awhile back, missing front grill-bumper and rear bumper and as a paint-bomb. Lucky one of the last days to order from Modelhaus I ordered the grill and bumpers, and just received them last week, so decided to do a quick build of this hard to find model. Painted with Duplicolor Electron Blue Pearl Metallic and many polished and buffed Duplicolor clear coats. Added BMF and custom wheels, this little junker turned out okay, one of my better paint jobs considering I got globbed with paint.
charger74 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Very Nice!! Love that shade of blue! Same for me !!!
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Love the color, wheels & stance.
StevenGuthmiller Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Beautiful Jim! It definitely rivals your '74 in the paint department. & this is actually a good looking Torino! I've been meaning to get one of these for years. Steve
Funkychiken Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Now that's a paint job to turn heads, great build!
Maindrian Pace Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Great job, the restored junker is my favorite build type, so satisfying bringing something back from the scrap pile.
DumpyDan Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I have one of these, you have done a remarkable job. mine came with the grill and bumpers, nice work
o-man Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 "turned out okay" That there is a giant understatement! Great Honda color on a Ford, Love it!

ChrisBcritter Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 One of the last great Jo-Han kits - you've done it proud! You said you just got your Modelhaus parts - when did you order them? I got my order in May 15th - no chrome parts - hopefully I'll get it soon!
