curt raitz Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 (edited) I've had the Revell of Germany Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG #07100-0389 since it was first issued. Picked up the Tamiya Mecedes-Benz 300SL #24338 when it was issued. Both had been sitting in my closet for awhile. Decided to do a combo build and display them together. The Tamiya kit is fantastic and what a joy to build! The Revell of Germany Mercedes went together fairly well, with the exception of the final fit of chassis to body. It was tight and I was afraid of busting something, but eventually I got it to fit. Both kits are 1/24th, but the SLS AMG seems to be much larger than the older 300SL...a buddy did confirm the SLS AMG is a much larger vehicle than one would expect. So here they are: Edited October 5, 2016 by curt raitz
