Jstfrnds Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 M. This was my first lowrider to build to actually open it all up. Things don't open and close but I can't tell you how many parts are scratch built. It's about four years old. I what to enter in a few shows but not sure where to go. Hope you enjoy this TANGERINE build
rsxse240 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 That looks like a lot of work! Looks great! If you were down this way, Oklahoma, Texas, I'd suggest The MCMA Dallas show in March.See if you can find a local model club. They'll be able to get you to a show, I'm sure.
Tom Geiger Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 That's a lot of opening features! Do you have photos of it all closed up?Since you are in Maryland... Your closest show is the MidAtlantic NNL which is usually the 2nd Saturday in May.Diversified Scalerz in Bloomfield NJ is October 29th. This would be a good show for your low rider. There are a lot of younger guys into this genre there. The last show in the region for the year is the Liars Model Car Challenge on Long Island the 2nd Saturday of November.
crazyjim Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 A closed version would be nice to see. There's so much going on in the pics. Looks like a lot of time and effort went into that puppy.
espo Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Amazing build. So much detail work, its hard to take it all in.
LittleDrummerBoy Aka LDB Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Very cool, waiting for it to come alive like a transformer!
Jstfrnds Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 Thanks for comments. But nothing closes on this one cause I've never opened one so the first one was to just learn to open it. Now I'm doing functioning things on them. Thanks again.
