restoman Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Finally done! I finished this in Cocoa-A-Go-Go nail polish to give it a root beer brown look. Happy with the colour. Swapped in some Magnum rims, bigger tires, altered the lower front valence to look more factory-like and re-routed the A/C line to the condenser so the hood would fit down tight... I wanted the R/T side stripes but after going through two sets and not having any luck, IĀ opted for a bit of a stripe-delete look. Not real keen on how far forward the front tires sit, but... it is what it is.
espo Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Great looking color. I like the way you did the chassis and engine detailing.
PARTSMARTY Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Everything about it is great-what a color-wow !!!
drodg Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Nice 440 magnum. Ā Great job and quite frankly the stripe delete was probably a cleaner look. Ā Ā
MGL Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Looks great, I like the color. Just a tip, if the wheels mount on a plastic stud and you don't care if they roll you can oblong the mounting hole on the front wheel back and glue them on the stud, this would give you the 1/16" or so you need to put them where you want them. That tail light panel really looks sharp with the argent paint.
Rodent Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 It's a beautiful car, but I can't imagine that color on anyone's fingernails or especially toenails. Ā
DumpyDan Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 NICELY Executed man! GREAT job!I secondĀ thatĀ
Dodge Driver Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Really sharp! Good job on the details.

gtx6970 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 That looks really, really good.I personally never cared for any of the 71 or 72 Charger stripes designs - so I like it as a stripe delete
