mchook Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 It's finished. Rusty old used Model A doodlebug with a trailer full of hay. I was going to have different stuff in the trailer but things didn't work out. Good or bad, tell me what you think.
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 You nailed the look. Nice job on the weathering. Where did you get the tractor seat?
mchook Posted January 20, 2017 Author Posted January 20, 2017 Thanks, I made the seat from scrap styrene.
D. Battista Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) Been watching the WIP... and I think you did an outstanding job on this one...!I really like this and glad you did the weathered version...! Oh and BTW.. trailer looks great too..! Edited January 20, 2017 by D. Battista
Sixties Sam Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Great build! Looks like it's had a long life of farm service! The tractor seat is a very nice touch!Sam
donb Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Perfect weathering. It looks like its been out in the field for a long time. Great work.
Chuck Most Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Love it! All you need now is a 1:25 chicken coop to park it next to.
John Goschke Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Great job on the conversion and weathered finish!
JRich1522 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Have you been in my storage shed ? I own a 1/1 doodlebug built from a '29 model AA that looks almost like yours, same color even. Outstanding work.
bbowser Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Very well done. Believable weathering job, with the right backround it would pass for 1:1.
mchook Posted January 21, 2017 Author Posted January 21, 2017 Thanks everyone for all the kind words. It was a lot of fun to build & it's nice to hear all the positive feedback!
