When is the last time you saw one built.  I finally finished this one.  I added black paint around the windshield after I took the photo.

Haven't seen one built in decades, and maybe NEVER one in person. You did a fine, fine job with the old kit! Drive on!

Nice work. Is it the MPC or the IMC kit?

According to the thread title, it's MPC. At least that's the way I interpreted it. B)

Sharp...never seen one of these kits in person, I assume they have a lot in common w/ the MPC GT40 Mk IV kit...I have a couple of those, the issue with the trailer (have the box but the trailer is missing) and the 80s reissue...

Wasn't it a clear kit?

Should be.....

I have a few old built ups  that are clear.

Outstanding build Rex! Great to see one built.

Well done, would like to see more pics. I have this original MPC kit in my to be built "Hot Wheels" Sweet 16 tribute builds. I paid a lot of $$$ for my kit, looking forward to building it as nice as yours

Great job.

I love these old IMC / MPC / Heller / Lendberg / AMT / Union kits.

I have built the Ford Mark 4, the Ferrari 512M, the Porsche 908 and just picked up the Chaparral 2E and Lola T70 and I am going to build them both.

It was clear but I painter the inside and outside flat while and then slog white and there the blue parts.  I also buil the IMC J car which is much smaller and represents another variation of this test mule for what becam the Mark IV.

I added the tail lights from the 69 Shelby Mustang but otherwise the build it stock.  The 1/43 JCar is a resin kit by Saphirre.  The other one is the IMC kit.

Working on the ARII GT40 next.  Basically a slot car but I'll use some IMC or Fujumi parts to jazz it up.
