NYNS Franky Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Huge Porsche fan, and in need of completing a few quick builds. Great kit, no issues during assembly and perfect stance out of the box. I did mine in the '90's style with chome wheels using Alclad. Enjoy.
Scalper Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Sweet. I like it. Complete the rest. I'm a huge Porsche nut as well. Thank god the curbside kits have the right stance. It would be a pain to lower otherwise. All the enthusiast kits so far I had to lower as you can see in my wips.
Nacho Z Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Great looking Porsche, Frank. I agree, the stance is just right. The finish is beautiful, too!
iamsuperdan Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Good to know the stance is right. I have this kit and I always wonder how much work I'll have to do on ride height! Good job on this one.
aurfalien Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Hi,Wow that project looks perfect, you NAILED the stance!
Matt Bacon Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Build and finish is absolutely spot on, looks lovely. But I have to disagree on the stance. Way too low and looks unrealistic to me -- it doesn't even have a driver on board to load up the suspension a bit... This is what a real one looks like: The tyres aren't rubbing on the arches, and you might actually be able to drive it over the odd bump... YMMV, obviously! best, M.
NYNS Franky Posted April 20, 2017 Author Posted April 20, 2017 Thank you for the great comments. I will have to agree with Matt on the stance that it is not factory correct, but I love the look. For those interested, the wheels can be set further in. I set them were I liked it.Cheers!
WizPorsche944 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 (edited) Very nice, I've built 2 of these kits they really do build up great. Edited April 21, 2017 by WizPorsche944

Dann Tier Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Porsches are my favorite German cars, and I think you did an outstanding job on this!!!
