I already have a 1/25th GAZ-13 Chaika kit. Now I need a 1/25 Mercer Raceabout and a American Underslung to go along with it would be exceptionally nice.

-I'd LOVE To see someone do a early 40's or late 40's Dodge Power Wagon..... Even an early 50's one too! The big fat fendered one..... AND to that have the same kit come as a 2n1, and have the ability to make it the standard 4x4 truck, AND the big brother 6x6 version.....

Sometimes it is interesting to see what is on these lists, and what's NOT on these lists.  I 'll double the votes for the Daytona Coupe and add a 260/289 Cobra like I put on the list at the Milwaukee NNL.  If Revell would just give us Ferrari SWB and the Aston DB5 like they advertised I would be really happy.  Release the race-spec Ford GT and my wallet will be empty.

You live in Muskego? So do I. Small world.

Yes, Like someone posted, the list started out on Milwaukee NNL. I wrote on the first page wanting the 68/69 Buick Skylark/GS, the GAZ Chaika ( I know, I'm weird like that), and the 57 Studebaker Golden Hawk with optional Packard hawk parts.

Thank you. I also have two paper soviet car  and now DEAgostini made test soviet car in 1/24-Volga Chaika Pobeda and Zhiguli.

I am waiting for Revell to do a new 1957 Nomad.

The '57 Nomad should be a no-brainer for Revell! Why that car continues to get ignored is beyond me. It was there on one of the pages of the list, so maybe there's hope.

I'd love to see that too.  With parts and decals to build the Hollingsworth Nomad!

I think what keeps them from doing it is that they have tooling for two already...  the ancient Revell version that was never meant to be built, and the 1/24 Monogram version, a toy at best.

Would love to see D'agostini Soviet cars kits. I have paper Polikarpov WWII plane a friend sent me from Brasil.

I put down a few on that list when I was at NNL East:

97 Camaro SS and Firebird Firehawk tools from their existing f-body mold

The "ghost" Honda CRX that got canceled but the whole tool supposedly completed

GMC Syclone and Chevy S10 Wave Rider reissues

New tools like a 94' RX7 2 in 1 and Supra 2 in 1 with a stock option if possible

And reissues of stuff like the Subrau WRX, 93 Civic (good F&F fodder), 99 Civic Hatch. I know these aren't to everyone's tastes, but the latter are stuff that wouldn't cost a lot to shoot up since they were fairly recent. I talked with Ed Saxton about the 78' RX7 release date and what happened with the planned NSX reissue. He said they looked into putting it out in the F&F line to replicate the car from one of the recent entries, but dropped those plans before release (which sounds like the movie car, while almost stock, had custom bits and wouldn't justify the cost in retooling given it wouldn't be a hot seller). I asked him if Revell would explore reissuing it in the "performance" line since other imports like the RX7 and Miata are in it, he said "Absolutely!", so we'll see what happens.

I suspect that the tooling for the Land Rover is long gone. Re-popping just 5000 of these as an SSP kit is a no-brainer.

I don't see the streamlined, modern Revell leaving money of the table that way. There has been a low, but very definite request for this kit for 15-20 years. Nothing has happened. Nobody from Revell will ever give a straight up Yes/No answer on the tooling. That tells me that the tooling is gone and that Revell just does not want to take the heat on this. Not that I blame them. It may not be heat from a huge crowd, but the few of us who do care could pitch quite a fit.

So buy them when you can find them. Enjoy them. But I'll predict that they are Gone Baby, Gone.

The way to get the Land Rover instantly reissued... one of us needs to pay $100 for a kit!   :D

I just checked eBay for one of those and yikes! :o

Even the built up ones can still go for a chunk of change, so yeah...........as soon as enough pay the high prices, BOOM! Revell will magically reissue it without warning! :D

It took the ex Monogram Ford Ranger P/U over 30 years for an encore, so I believe there's still hope ;)

Nice try, Tom, Bill, & Luc. Still "Notgonna" happen, says Me. The wall of silence surrounding what is rumored to have been one of Monograms, most legendary failures, is still unbroken. I canna predict if it will ever fall.

Deep down I completely agree.

If all the model manufactures quit today. I've got more then my share to hold me over there rest of my days.

Although I would definitely take notice if the wanted to do a late 50s Dodge or Desoto as a last hurrah .

If we can't bring more new blood into the hobby, that may be where we are headed.. Just a bunch of old guys sitting on a pile of kits like Smaug in his lair... LOL

I already tried that. I paid $65 for a MIB Landie a few years ago and waited patiently for them to re-release it. No luck. Someone elses turn!

Pricey...I got my Land Rover on eBay maybe 15 years ago, think I paid maybe $50 for it MIB.   I'd love to have the later US spec Defenders (in both the soft top 90 and 4dr 110 variations) in 1/24th..

A snap Disco Bird would be quite alright with me. With the amount of time I don't have, I'm finding I really like the new snap kits as an alternative to full-detail.

The resin body looks good. I'd also consider that if it came complete with interior and correct wheels, perhaps sized to fit the Pegasus whitewall tires. The Diamond Jubilee Edition is a pretty package.

I suggested the 1950 Buick Special Sedanette. The frame, floors and front suspension are done with the '50 Olds. Buick used Torque-tube drives, so the rear suspension would require 3-5 new parts (torque tube, rear axle if separate, and two springs,) engine/transmission, body and interior. It's a rare, but well-liked body with all walks of 1:1 automotive life.

I also requested the re-issue of the Museum Pieces.

I'd by a correct Mercer. I'd also buy a non-Ford/Chevy/over-the-top 1930s car. That Buick would be ideal. There are a bunch more I'd like to see.

I'd love to see the old Monogram Land Rover repopped once again.  These are pretty scarce today.

That poor Land Rover was much maligned when new, but it's actually a pretty nice kit. A huge sales failure at the time, but I think things are different now. I don't know why Revell of Germany never issued it. I would think it would be a big hit in the UK/Europe
