NYNS Franky Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Nice work, that turned out really well. Liking the color of the carpet as well.
espo Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Looks outstanding. Hard to believe this build came from that kit.
mikemodeler Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Looks great! Nice work on fixing the front clip and that paint is very nice!
Geno Posted May 16, 2017 Author Posted May 16, 2017 Thanks guys, I really do appreciate it. Believe me, this thing was a bear at times and gave me some fits but I think it turned out fairly decent.
PARTSMARTY Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Looks outstanding. Hard to believe this build came from that kit.X2
Curt Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Geno, my friend, you did a really nice job on a difficult project. You rocked it, bud!
Bob Ellis Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 GenoYou did a great job! What prompted you into building the 1/24 Monogram instead of a 1/25 Lindberg?
TonyW Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 I built that one back in nineteen hundred and frozen to death. It didn't look anywhere near as good as this one!! Thanks for posting the pictures.
Hmann68 Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Sharp job Geno! Very nicely done and I can't believe it's the same kit either!!
Geno Posted May 16, 2017 Author Posted May 16, 2017 GenoYou did a great job! What prompted you into building the 1/24 Monogram instead of a 1/25 Lindberg?Hi Bob, I've collected 1/24 DM, FM, GMP, among other brands of 1/24 diecast muscle cars for years. This was the only way to get me a stock, true 1/24 '66 Chevelle as it's my all time favorite year for Chevelles. Plus I liked the challenge LOL. Thanks for the kind words. Geno.
