Hi everyone,

Finally finished up this model tonight. Had quite a few dramas with the kit quality and then stuff ups on my behalf but the result is OK I think.

Definitely fun to try new things (automotive paint and drilling rivet spaces in this case)

Very clean looking build, great fit and finish. I like that you used the fender flairs and spoiler. Paint looks great also.

Oh yeah! Nice Fairlady!

I thought the Fairladies were the previous models; 1600 and 2000?

That's a very nice looking Z. Z-cars are classics, and will still look good 100 years from now.

The earlier cars were indeed called "Fairlady", but the JDM (Japanese domestic market) Z-car was known as the "Nissan Fairlady Z".

Beautiful model, perfect color. I've always longed for a longnose with flares just like yours. :D

I had a '71 240Z and have always thought it was a great looking car and it was a lot of fun to drive. Your model is beautiful, especially with the rear spoiler and fender flares.

THis is such a terrific build. Lovely color choice and such a smooth, impeccable finish. I love these cars. Have two models on my own. Didn't know the badges looked like that.
Cars aren't bad at all, but getting the base to slide in is such a pain. I cut off multiple point so i didn't have to flex the body to get the chassis to roll beneath. Still ended up chipping some paint along the edges.

Dammit, can't find a single other full image of mine.

Niceee. Love the blue was so torn between dark blue or the brown. I'm keen to do another one now that I've learned.
