This came resin cast from Glenn Polkington in Australia.....

And this is the finished item, all I needed to find was clear plastic for the front and rear windows. I also added alloy intakes on top of the engine.............

Being a resin kit the wheels had to be painted as in the original Monogram plastic kit they were chromed.

Nice work!! How much and how do you get one??

Thanks Dave,  The cost including shipping to the UK was $104AUS. Glenn's ebay site is resinblob64, although this one isn't on there, so contact him on glenn.polky@skymesh.com.au.

I remember building that when I was a kid! Thanks for the memories!

Steve

Thanks Steve, I would like to find a rare plastic kit of it though!

This came out cool.

Cheers Andy. Yes it was good to work on. I would call it a typical resin kit, very little flash, nice thin body panels, but slightly thicker interior unit that needed a bit of shaving down, but otherwise very good detail. Someone found me the build plans on coffin corner 2 site.

NIce!  That is such a bizarre car.

Thanks randyc, yes, weird shape suits me down to the ground!

I certain-T  enjoyed the car! Sorry, I couldn’t resist! Nice build Pat. One of the few show cars Iike.

Thanks Jurgen. Yes as you say about resins, you just have to be patient and shave a bit off here and a bit off there and hey presto it all fits together!

But it helps when it's a top quality kit as well.

Thanks Bob, yes I've been looking for one of the original kits for years now so took the opportunity to get one of these as soon as I heard about them.

Like the Hawk Sandpiper I bought earlier this year for a very good price after seeing one on ebay.com for nearly $200, take the last nought off and I got mine for that!

It's very much a waiting game but for how long!

Looks like a nice resin kit. Looks as though it was cast off original kit parts. Nice to see it around again albeit in resin. I remember building one when it first came out way back in the sixties I think. Still have the box top photo in a folder as well as some pages of articles about detailing the kit and modifying it from an old copy of Model Car & Science published from way back when.
