Ken Gilkeson Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 recent build, just finished. candy red over gold basecoat.
Snake45 Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Very nice! You had better luck with that candy red than I ever have.
shoopdog Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 That's one sweet looking Pontiac. Paint looks flawless.
espo Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 great looking build. I like the way you detailed the engine.
donb Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Sweet build. The color looks great on it too. Those cars were really big. But they were also beautiful. Nicely done Ken
Phirewriter Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Excellent work on the paint, candies can be difficult to come out as even and vibrant as yours, well done.
vintagercr Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Ken, nice looking build and I like the back drop

Ken Gilkeson Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 thank you all for the kind words. this was my only build this year.
'70 Grande Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Very nice build! What did you do to make those headlight lenses look so good? Did you glue clear-plastic lenses over the top of the chrome-molded lenses?
Hmann68 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Gorgeous! Our neighbors had one of those when I was a kid and I still remember how huge the car looked to me. Great work!
Ken Gilkeson Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 headlights were painted flat white, thanx all.
TooOld Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Nice job and a great looking car . Love the engine !
impcon Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Man, I like those big Pontiacs and yours is a fine rendition. The Canadian Grande Parisienne which started production in 1966, is based on the American Grand Prix but it has Bonneville upholstery and of course, badging. http://www.oldcarscanada.com/2011/11/1966-pontiac.html
