( update 12-15-2019 can't figure out how to edit post title) CSX3006 has the 289FIA-style wheels, which are available from Hist. Racing Miniatures.
65slotcar Posted December 15, 2019 Author Posted December 15, 2019 thanks Maxx, i have a set of FIA wheels from Historic Racing Miniatures. they make great parts and kits. i need to change the roll bar to no support bar. still researching paint scheme.
Gramps46 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Glad to see the project again. Here are some pictures of CSX3006 from the rear but with the top on. Let me know if you need more photos.
Reuhkapelti2 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Such a ambotious project you have going on, and it's looking very promising so far. Thumps up you can get every Cobra done. I will be following you project as many others do too.

65slotcar Posted December 16, 2019 Author Posted December 16, 2019 Gary ...... you are the man! thanks for the great pictures. I kinda figured you would have some pics that no one else has. what an interesting top. in that pic you can see the roll bar has a center support . but doesn't look like it's there in my pic. maybe added later on for a different race and different car number.

I doubt they used a hood scoop from a Ferrari but with plenty of panel beaters about my guess is they did the same as you and just made one. The side pipes are looking really good.
65slotcar Posted December 28, 2019 Author Posted December 28, 2019 thanks guys, was going for the beat up and over heated side pipes. i have a ferrari hood coming and i hope it's just a little bigger so i can shape it down to fit.
65slotcar Posted December 28, 2019 Author Posted December 28, 2019 (edited) a quick mock up cobra csx 3016 at sebring . made a heat shield for side pipe Edited December 28, 2019 by 65slotcar

Gramps46 Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Oh man you are on a roll, way to go. I just noticed your #13 CSX 3020 and remember I have a picture of it which I took at Mid Ohio in 1966 with my trusty Kodak Instamatic. Have not forgotten, I owe you some transporter pictures. Will try and get them out to you today.
