YBlock292 Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 This is one of my older builds, built around 2010. It does'nt quite match my actual skills in painting, so you will probably notice some orange peel on the trunk deck lid. Sprayed it with heavy enamel paint then...I think, the proud owner couple "has moved" from a 1959 Ford Galaxie retractable hardtop kit .
Classicgas Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Nice Caddy. Is the instrument panel a decal or paint detailed?
YBlock292 Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 Thanks everbody! The dashboard ist paint detailled.
unclescott58 Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Very, very nice. It reminds me that I've got to pull mine out and build it one of these days.
peekay Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Great looking model - as always from you Ludwig. The figures are a nice touch.
donb Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 There’s just something so cool about 50’s/60’s Cadillac’s. Especially the black and red. As usual another fine job Ludwig. Always nice seeing your cars.
espo Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Another great looking build. That is a perfect color combination for this body style.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 It's a very nice paint job, black is quite unforgiving, believe me I know. Nothing wrong with yours. If I were the guy in the "owner couple" I would move back to the Ford in a hurry!! By the way, great job on the dash, and on the fine detail on the grille and wheelcovers.
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Sweet!! I've had the hardtop version of this kit in my stash for over 30 years! It is one of my "someday builds". Steve
Slotto Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Beautiful Caddy. Great color and finish and the interior is supurb!
Eric Macleod Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 The guy must have invested in plastics to go so quickly fom a Ford to a Cadillac. Beautiful model!
High octane Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I've started on earlier this year, and now since I've seen your beauty I'm gonna want to finish it in the upcoming year for sure. That is a beautiful Caddy.
