tiking Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 (edited) This is a quick vignette I made in-between my current major truck build. Yes, I have been doing quite a lot of them lately. I wanted something to take with me to the GGG exhibition in Sweden, in two weeks time. So I came up with this after seeing a pic on the net. I used parts, which I modified to be able to get the open rear axle effect I wanted. I have lots of 1/24 parts left over from older builds, which I’ve discarded over the years. Hope you all like it. Xingu Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Excellent! All the weathering and little details really add to it. I like the cut-off U-bolts and the fluid in the housing.

Eric Macleod Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 What's not to like? This is a fantastic example of every part of a model being a model itself. Very, very well done!
GlueTube Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Sweet! and greasey just the way it should be. Well done Sir! Regards Brian

Anglia105E Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Absolutely brilliant detail Charles, and what a perfect way to make use of parts that would just sit in boxes and probably never get used. Good luck with the GGG exhibition in Sweden when you go there. David

misterNNL Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 The only detail I would add here is some fasteners where the wooden cross boards on the pallet where they meet the 4 by 4's.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 That looks so real that I can actually smell the grease!! Awesome!!!!
