You're crazy, JC!!!...lol, and I know crazy!  -love watching your builds. Not to sound weird or anything, but wanting to help people fix the Aoshima Pagani, and your posts encouraged me to start posting my builds in progress....

Growing up in a small town only myself and one friend built models so it was a pretty solitary hobby for me for most of my life. It's nice now to belong to a club and have on-line forums to share ideas and information back and forth. Glad too Dann you decided to share your WIPs, they inspire and help us all be better builders.

Headers are HRM's resin copies of the 911R kit headers cast as 1-piece , added a PE flange and tail piece. The muffler is the Fujimi part modified to replicate the rally muffler.

Can I buy the 911R headers separately?

The headers are included in HRM's Porsche IROC trans-kit. Contact HRM to ask if he will sell the headers separately - I assume he would.

Thanks Bruce & Jonathan.

Wow how did I miss all this fun. Excellent project

Love all the body versions, running gear and wings.

I tried my hand at casting rear wings and louvres...NOT easy and certainly not as clean as the ones you show

The Gulf Singer is my favourite so far

Thanks Scott.  No plans to cast the SCRS wings.  All other wings shown are either Fujimi kit parts or resin parts already available.

Gotta love the Porsche 911s. This will be my next 911 build

The 911R that set the World Endurance Record would be an interesting build.  The car was required to carry on board all the spare parts it intended to need. Porsche did several things to lighten the "R" including a fiberglass hood, you can see it deflecting in the photo from the aerodynamic load.

I have an early 911 project planned but it's not the BP sponsored car.

Thanks Danny.

Spoke with Mr. Bradford (HRM) yesterday - he is going to add the 911R headers as a stand alone item to his catalog.

Yep. The car is sitting in the Petersen Automotive Museum's Vault. I have loads of photos of this car that were taken during restoration.

The Porsche 911: Reimagined By Singer, Driven By Enthusiasts  ............

Appreciate it Randy.

In only takes a spare $500k Russell.  :)

Welcome aboard Kurt - any questions about how I build these kits just ask.

While visiting recently with my friend Mr. Bradford (HRM) he pulled this gem from his stash. Knowing my affection for Porsche he bestowed it upon me, yes it is good to have friends. Having had it for many years he doesn't recall the source.  Only the body and wing are included.  It's not a HRM claiber casting but I think I can do something with it.

The wing provided is the wrong style.

DSCN5630

I replaced it with a correct RSR wing from Reji,  filled the incorrect NACA ducts in the fenders , opened all the various cast closed slots and performed some overall cleanup.

Looks like the Fujimi chassis might work with some minor adjustments.

I apologize that this tread has become a bit of a Porsche ramble - hope you guys don't mind.:)
