In the six months after I turned 25, had to get the wisdom teeth cut out (three of the four impacted), got glasses (names and numbers on the back of the jerseys were getting too small to read) and have a knee scoped (torn meniscus).....30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 have been a walk in the park!!!

Watch your weight and stay reasonably fit. Keep learning. If you don't get hit with some difficult health problem, you can feel every bit as good in 2 decades as you do now...maybe better depending on your current fitness level.

50? You still have a lot of good years ahead of you if you're lucky. I know that for the longest time my age was just a number, however as I'm somewhat older than 50 it seems harder to go through each day. Of course a LOT of people don't get to reach the age of 50 and getting older is a privilege that is denied to many, so count your blessings.

Happy birthday, Bro. Age is a state of mind. I'm 58, feel like I did in my 30s and occasionally act like I did in my teens.

I can't help but be reminded by this, of the quote from Burgess Meredith in the movie Grumpy Old Men :

"The first 90 years, they go by so fast!  But how would You know You're just a dam kid!! One day you wake up and realize you're  not 81 anymore!"

Burgess Meredith was pure genius in every role I've seen him in........... Especially the many Twilight Zone's he was in
