I finally got some paint on the body.  Model Master Metallic Stoplight Red over a base coat of Humbrol #55 Bronze29RoeadsterPaint.png.aca6a1402e8383da5af9df914fc495af.png

Beautiful build and a great paint job.....I love this period.

I'm totally digging this. This roadster is a perfect period piece....And yeah, I read all of Felsen's books that i could find in my middle school library. I think it's pathological ?.

The more I look at this, the more I think the windshield needs a trim.

I think it looks about right if you picture a driver in the car.

I got the gauges printed up on clear stock.  I figured I might as well print a whole sheet full of them, so now I have a lifetime supply of '50s vintage Stewart Warner gauges.  I also flipped the image so the shiny side faces outward.

And here they are with the backs painted white, and installed in the dash.

Very nice looking. Has a real stretched look to it.

Funny thing, that's just the frame from the Revell kit.  I changed the rear to a leaf spring setup, but everything is the same length.
