Finished this up a few weeks ago, I am not happy with this one, it was of those builds that just want to have issues no matter what you do,  the glue for whatever reason was reacting to something and fogging stuff up, its not a very well built model and almost embraced and simply posting it as proof that I finished it lol, far as I am concerned it needs to be binned .

Great work Johnathan, love the colour and panel line pick out. These kind of builds are more of a testament of our diligence to complete projects. It looks great from here and will look great on a shelf.

I too think it looks great!!…….I actually DID bin my first one......tell me if these problems sound familiar;  1-windscreen doesn't have enough lip to glue to, 2-wiper doesn't really fit all that good under the bonnet, which makes the blade end stick-out away from the glass.....I had to VERY carefully glue mine down without fogging the windscreen.....NOT fun, and 3-the headlamp housings are a pain in the...……..to get to fit properly!!!

These kinds of builds can be real soul suckers.  They just sap the energy from you.  In the end you do get the satisfaction of knowing that you persevered through a PITA build.  I think your Lambo looks just fine.  Really fine!  Nice work as always.

Thank you Lloyd , you are right, these builds do require a lot diligence, and let me tell you it used up all of mine.

Thank you Dann,  you pretty much nailed it, I would be lying if I said I didnt have those issues,  it took I believe two tries to get the windscreen to glued in and to actually stay.   I put the windscreen in first, then put the cowl piece in second, then the wiper, found that is the only real way to get it all to work.

Thank you John,  oh yes, you nailed it all,  these are those builds that will bring you back down if you have gotten to full of yourself , it did just that to me lol.

Show of hands of anyone who has built a perfect model.  John Teresi comes to mind for me.

I think that looks great!  It's a subject that I've considered getting, but I'm at four lifetimes now.  The best part, you FINISHED!  Celebrate.

Well, it looks great anyway...

And I thought these modern Aoshima kits were so well-designed...? You pretty much scare me from building one of my own kits... :unsure:B)
