om617 Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 MPC rebuilder i got a time back. Did finish it some weeks back. Forgot to cut the decals at doorlines before pictures. Quick details: B5 Blue automotive,AMT 440 engine and transmission from 71 Charger. Scenes Unlimited steelies with AMT parts pack tires. Masking tape vinyl roof with added styrene for trim, aftermarket hedlamp lenses. If i could done somthing diffrent it would be to reposition the firewall, but i`m okay with how it turned out in the end. Thanks for watching and hope you like it.
Bucky Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 That looks good! I always liked B5 blue. Those wheels and tires give it a firm footing!!
NYLIBUD Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 Great job, definitely digging that color. Its weird, but if you quickly look at the car in the last picture,it sort of looks like an old NYPD car.I mean if they ever used Challengers.
Snake45 Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 Beautiful, and doesn't it feel great to bring one back from the dead? Well done and model on!
Ron Hamilton Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 That one takes me back. When I was a teenager, my best friend's sister had a boyfriend with a B5 70 Challenger SE. I bought a Jimmy Flintstone Resin transkit to do a similar car. His car had wire wheels on white lettered tires. I am going with either road wheels or Rallye Wheels on white lettered tires.
Rider Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 Great looking build, love the tire's and wheels.
tmb727 Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 Sweet. White vinyl roof looks great with the white interior and side stripe.
bbowser Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 That is really sweet! I'm not a fan of white interiors but it works on this.
dragmodels44 Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 Look awesome man! I love the B5 and steel wheels!
