Hoffman Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Remember the old Monogram IMSA Mustang GTP racer? What if you combined that with a Revell '55 Chevy coupe? What to do for power.........how about a twin-turbo'd 409? I did this in about 1986, before Pro-Touring came about. It looks a little crude now, but it was my best at the time.
Phildaupho Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Definitely very interesting very different and very well done
TarheelRick Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 That is one wicked '55. Some really nice detail work in the engine compartment. Two thumbs up.
espo Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Very impressive, especially the engine. The rear "tunnel" under the body looks a little over the top, but then the whole build is a what if they had IMSA in 1955. The build looks very well thought out and something to be proud of.
Scott Colmer Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 I remember seeing that one in print! The HUGE area tunnel makes the show. Great job!
geetee66 Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 Fantastic build! The turbos and other details are great. Looks kinda sinister, despite being white. top work
Rider Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 Very cool concept, great detail on the engine. Perfect stance. A build to be proud of.
89AKurt Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 Well thought out, and not a single stock part, is there? Always appreciate thinking out of the box projects.
